Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Billvy ("Billvy", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the website, application, and related services (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the authority to enter into this agreement.

1. Description of Service

Billvy is a software-as-a-service platform that helps small and medium businesses in India generate GST-compliant invoices, manage customers, and track billing activity. Billvy is a documentation and productivity tool — it is not a chartered accountancy, tax advisory, or legal service.

2. Account Registration

You must register for an Account using accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your Account. Notify us immediately at support@billvy.in of any unauthorised use.

3. Subscription Plans and Fees

All fees are in INR, exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated. Continued use of a paid plan authorises us to charge the then-current fee on each renewal, until cancelled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Payment Terms

Payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. Billvy does not store your full payment card details; these are handled directly by our payment gateway partner.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings. Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including violation of tax or GST regulations.
• Do not upload false, fraudulent, or misleading business information.
• Do not attempt unauthorised access to the Service or other Users' accounts.
• Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
• Do not transmit malware, spam, or infringing content.

We may suspend or terminate Accounts that violate this section, at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service — including its software, design, and the Billvy name and logo — remain the exclusive property of Billvy. You retain ownership of your Content; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that invoices generated will satisfy all statutory requirements applicable to your business. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the preceding six (6) months.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms. Before formal proceedings, parties agree to first attempt good-faith resolution via support@billvy.in.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least seven (7) days before taking effect.
